Importing Fashion Jewelry Home Decor and Clothing Items

Hello,

I had a question. I am participating in bridal exihibition. For that purposes, I wish to have goods like fashion jewelry, clothes, home decorations etc from merchants in my native country (India) ranging from 8,000-10,000 $.

All these merchants have export license. We do not have any import license as such.

I wanted to know these things:

1. Do I require an import license?

2. Is it fine if the items are delivered to our residential address on my name.

3. Is there a limit to the amount that can be shipped.
