I work 20 hours per week part-time as a cleaner for a cleaning company in
Maryland. I make $15 per hour and considered an independant contractor for
the company. Can you tell me how much money or how much of a percentage I
should be saving each month to not have to owe the IRS at the end of the
year?

can get tricky as an independent contractor. At Del-Air Electrical Services
we also employ electrical contractors. We have an accountant who handles all
of this however when we first got started we did utilize the tools on the
IRS.gov website. You may also seek help from a local tax agent in your area.
Best of luck to you.
