I have been looking for info on how to start a non-emergency medical transportaiton business here in Texas. My main source of info is the web. This is something my husband and I would like to start up when he retires in 5 years if not sooner for me. We know the 'gist' of the money end like insurance, the vans, etc. but i am looking for info on how to start this up, rules/regulations/etc.. We have a family memeber that does this already and has for years and is doing very well however they will not give us any information. I see tons of adds where you pay for info but I do not trust those places....
any info/advice/direction would so be greatly appreciated!
If you are looking for solid, unbiased information - that is also free - find a SCORE or SBDC office in your area. Both are supported by the SBA and are free to use. Both can help you research and develop your business concept as well as tackle all your issues.
