I've had the ideal to start a internet cafe/coffeehouse and I would like some
advice as well as professional expertise on how to first attract investors to
become involve with the business and all the legal aspects that are needed to
pursue the startup. I have a perfect location and have some ideals on adding
eco-green technology and social-networking with interior design to attract
urban profesionals to my business.

don't plan. Everyone has questions when it comes to starting a business and
you are headed in the right direction because you are already asking the
right questions.
In order to attract investors you are going to have to be able to prove to
them why your business is a good business to invest in; also you will need to
be able to prove to them how your business will be able to make money. In
other words prove why I should choose your Café over Cafe-X? Or how will you
market your business to draw custoners...etc ? This is why you need a
business plan and you can't answer these questions without a business plan.
This site has a wealth of information in regard to creating your business
plan.
You will also find plenty of information on starting your business, legal
questions etc. Also you can find and meet with a SCORE counselor on this site
that will help you for free! They can help answer some of your business
questions you may have too.
My final advice to anyone who wants to start a business is to be prepared to
do some homework (research, read, and learn the business language) which
learning the answers to the questions you have asked. It will help you out in
the long run.
I hope this helps!
