I'm just starting the process of becoming an entrepreneur. Everything is new to me. Could anyone assist me in writing a great business plan. If you can just provide me with a guideline of how its written, I can take it from there.
Thanks in advance.

A business plan is a written statement that describes and analyzes your
business; therefore, it should be completed properly. Depending on the type
of business you want to open, you can include several points:
A solid business plan should have the following:
1. Confidentiality Agreement
2. Table of contents
3. Executive Summary
4. Start-up summary
5. Business description
6. Mission Statement
7. Product or Services Line
8. Target Market Analysis
9. SWOT Analysis
10. Competition Analysis
11. Marketing & Sales Strategies
13. Management Team
12. Positioning Statement
14. Funding Request
15. Finanical projections
16. Appendix
Depending on your business, there are more parts that can be included in your
business plan.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!

have a natural ability for marketing.... accounting, forecasting blah blah..
not so much. I ended up with a 114 Page Business Plan that looks like a team
of top end Corp. Pros spent a year on it. I probably have 150 hours or a
little more in it but I am basically a freelancer that needs 20 Million with
another 10 in the chiller. Sent it to two potential investors and both used
the phrase "20 is not a problem, I think you got something here."
One was in Bali and is on his way to Missouri Now. I am having to put the one
in the states off as I wish to work with the other and I know for fact that
business plan played a big part and I also know I would not have anything
like it using excel templates. With that said I have seen other people talk
down on it. It may be a morons tool but that just may be exactly what I
needed, :) Good Luck!

or writing it, you may want to visit with a counselor at a small business
development center or a SCORE office in your area. Their services are free
and they can help you get started.
