I am an IT Professional. Have good understnading of internet marketing and
passion to start a small business and grow gradually. My wife is almost done
with her associate graduation. She also wants to start a small business.
We have our specific product for trageted market with small capital to start
with.
But we are really confused with legal issues
If LLC or Propitorship will be suitable for us?
In either cases what legal papers will we need to start our business?
Please help with legal issues.

business. You will need to register your business name and entity type with
your state or county. If your city requires a business license for all
businesses, you will need to obtain one. You will also need a sales tax
permit if your state collects sales tax. You may want to visit with a
counselor at a small business development center or SCORE office. Their
services are free and they can help you establish your business correctly.
