I am 26 year old. I really want to help people always have wanted to make a different in some kind of way. Is there anyone that would know the requirements in opening a halfway house in NC? As well as getting help with funding it as well?

regulated and licensed. You might want to start by contacting a counselor at
a small business development center or SCORE office. Their services are free
and they can help you do the research for your business plan. Your best bet
is probably to establish a non-profit, which requires approval from the IRS.
Non-profits have access to funding not available to for-profit businesses.
