I am new to the export business and have an interest in distributing or wholesaling medical supplies and equipment to countries such as Chile, the Caribbean and United Arab Emirates. First I would like an insight as to where to acquire these products that are made in the US at distributors or wholesalers cost as well as getting trade leads to various locations. Can anyone provide any insight. Thanks.

I agree opening up a local directory to find wholesale suppliers or attend a
trade show. I am sure wholesale distribuors, especially if they are credibile
wholesalers will be listed in a wholesale directory online. After getting
leads I would suggest you search the wholesale business by going online to
the BBB and verify the accumen. Best of Luck.

You might check with your state department of commerce. Many have an
international business division where you can obtain help on all aspects of
exporting. You may also have the opportunity to go on a trade mission to one
of the countries you are interested in exporting to.
