I've been asked to begin reading on a well known business figure

My boss asked me to do this over the weekend.  My background is not in business, it is in neural science.  I want to go a good job, but am a little lost. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what business type figure I should learn entrepreneurship from.  He gave me some names, I believe they were the CEO of MacDonald's, Jack Welch or Oprah Winfrey.  

I know this is a vague question, but does anyone have a preference or recommendation as to where I start?  Thank you.
