The length of time it takes to get paid for government contractors varies depending upon several factors. Generally, the average length of time for funding is 30-45 days following the submission of your invoice. Invoices must be submitted right after the 1st of the month and payroll is made on the 15th and the 30th of the month. You should be aware that there are exceptions to the length of time it takes for the government to pay invoices and you are able to cover the payroll for that period. Things can happen that may hold-up the payment process and at times it can take anywhere from 90-180 days from the submission of your invoice, depending upon the cause for the hold-up. If you need additional information on government invoicing please leave a comment below. Thanks, Keith Gilabert
