Keith Gilabert, "Hope is not a strategy"

I often hear from people in sales that they have a client on the fence and
that they will come around. Eventually they may, but you need to focus on
productivity and "hope" is not productive. In my years of sales whenever
someone said "maybe" I would start on the next prospect. I have found that
some people are just too nice to say "no" so they say "maybe" which at the
end of the day it is just like a "no" because you do not have a sale.
Never give up completely on the "maybe" but focus your time and efforts on
getting that "yes" with the next prospect and in the future the "maybe"
prospect may turn into a client.
Thanks for your time,
