Every year charities find new ways to raise money. One way is by selling raffle tickets. It seems like a great way to help an organization in need and at the same time you have an opportunity to maybe win a nice prize and benefit from a tax write-off. Well please note, the IRS does not allow money spent on raffle tickets to be tax deductible contributions.
