I have received a lot of emails on how to target customers on Twitter. If you want to find out who is tweeting near you in real-time, Nearby Tweets makes it possible for you to do that. Simply log on to the Website and it will automatically determine where you are and generate a list of Twitter users and their recent tweets within a certain geographic radius. Nearby Tweets lets you change your location, specify the radius and add keywords to make targeting even easier. I've seen this product successful with restaurants. Another way to get your business promoted is if you carry a line of products seek out local distributors. This group already has roots in the community and if they tweet that their product is available at your business this will enhance your visibility and increase sales.
