This is a question rather than a discussion topic: In reading one of your stories re: a couple wanting an SBA loan to buy a funeral home business, I learned that SBA employs persons called "Lender Relations Specialists" who act as a kind of liaison between borrower and lender. I want to start a small real estate rental business, but cannot get a SBA loan because the property will be used as a residence (though for someone else). HUD does not have such a Specialist, to my knowledge, but does have the kind of loan(s) that I need. Question: Can SBA's Specialist act in an advisory capacity to me for a HUD/FHA-guananteed loan?
