Twitter, or Pinterest [specifically] - a best way to promote and let people
share your magazine.
You can also try publishing a sample copy of your magazine at social
publishing sites.

looking for. You also need something compelling that will attract the
interest of advertisers as there are a lot of other places they can spend
their advertising money.

ideal advertiser would be. Start with an industry or region, then possibly
start making a few cold calls and inquiring. Getting off the ground is the
hardest part. Once your magazine gets more circulation, hopefully that job
becomes much easier!

How many readers do you have?
What would I get as advertiser if I advertise in your magazine?

level. That is the key, so content and building a reputation will leverage
your ability to sell ad space. In the beginning you could offer free or low
cost ads in conjunction with offering your magazine for free if you can pull
that off. I know several magazines at a local level who have done that, still
offer their magazine for free and now have no issue getting high paid ad
accounts due to the readership. That is a good back door and worth the risk
perhaps..good luck with your magazine!

pages? Contact those same companies. You can take it a step further and

you need to do about the type of advertisers you need. For example, if you
have a law related magazine, you target lawyers. Medical - doctors,
hospitals, etc. If you are a local magazine, then the focus becomes the
community. I think you need to first focus on the answer to that question.
