I am an administrator @ Med - Ride, a non-emergency medical transportation company. Our company is currently under expansion and is looking for financial assistance to help ease the costs associated with this endeavor. We currently specialize in ambulette services, we transport wheelchair patients to and from medical appointments for Medicaid and other providers; and currently are in the process of expanding to additionally offering ambulance services as well to our clients. If anyone has any advice on how to obtain gov grant/loan assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. A grant is probably out of the question as that is just not how grants work. However, having said that, you can always find your local community development office in your local government and see if your business is a needed service in the area. If it is needed by the community - this office may be able to apply for a grant on your behalf.
There are many options for finaning - however, in oder to point you in the right direction, would have to know more like how much you are seeking and what the funds will be used for - i.e. working capital, equipment, property, etc.
