I am looking to start a sole proprietorship writing company with no employees. From what I understand, I don't need an EIN, and I need to get my business certificate in my hometown. Really at the moment I'm looking to reserve the name I came up with so no one can take it, and also so I can inform potential prospects that I work for a company. As such I imagine I won't be bothering with taxes until I make money. If you could let me know if I am wrong about anything or missing anything I would appreciate it. Thanks.
