your website you'll be surprised by how much traffic that brings in.

Although there was a removal of the question here, I came across this and wanted to mention the internet Blog platform Wordpress has been well received by many people saying it is very easy to use, so easy that they were able to create and edit sites themselves for the most part.    The author of this post also uses the Wordpress platform and agrees with such thoughts.  Wordpress can be used as a blog, though it can be used to create and have a Website as well.    You may still need someone with website experience to do some of the work that may be more complex to save time, though the grunt work can be done by just about anyone.   Doing this will definately provide you with quite a bit in savings.   It was mentioned by the original post that many people can't afford the high price of website design and SEO.   Wordpress seems to be a solution to the cost issue for many businesses.    The Wordpress platform is good for SEO to begin with, though the business owner may need added SEO help, which can still be costly.     SEO can be done with some degree of success by the business owner, but many do not have the time.   This is a subject that can be discussed in further detail if there is interest, or if there are posts regarding this subject. 

I would recommend hiring a team or just personally going directly to a service firm (e.g. lawyer, doctor, dentist, etc.) and pitching your product. Tip: Bring an iPad or laptop to show live examples of your work. For most non-technical folks... They have to see it to believe it. Show them a working website that is SEO'd and that will sell them!

You say you're doing SEO but can't afford the high costs of SEO services. I guess you aren't very good at SEO then, and there's no point in you doing it. To build an online presence, either you've got to be seriously competitive and offer something unique, or you just have to get as good rankings as you can to gain visitors. I won't even touch on bounce rate.

You should try targeting business owners in the city or town you live. Take your phonebook and get the addresses of the businesses there and mail them your offer. It works wonders. Tell them you can get the listed on the first page of google. All you have to do is use google maps, I am sure you are aware of this. If you can get permission based emails give it a try. You can use constanctcontact or verticalresponse to get good deliverability. Drive around to some of these business and tell them your offer. I hope this was somewhat helpful.

Using the yellow pages works will. Talk about how the yellow pages goes immediately into the recycle bin for most people and the dollars they have been investing in yellow pages can be reallocated to internet marketing with much great ROI.
