I recently ordered online for a '30-day free trial' unfortunatly the fine print said I had to cancel in 14 days or they would bill me for the product and send another each month! If I saw that I would not have ordered. I found this out only after they had charged my credit card for the initial purchase. When I called to ask why I was told the above info and that they had already sent a second order! I told them to cancel any further orders and that I wouldnot accept delivery of second item and would have it returned- which I did. I refused delivery of the product and the post office sent it back. I also had my credt card cancelled to ensure no misuse since they were talking as if there might be a problem. Now I got a letter stating that I have a current past due balance sue to the order being declined pay or the debt will be sent to collections and mess up my credit score. Can they do that? Am I still libel for the carge if I refused delivery?
