Taking into consideration the fact that iPhone apps and games have come our recently I found it interesting to discuss effective advertizing methods for iPhone apps. I have promoted iPhone game for kids recently and tried traditional advertizing techniques. Submission to iPhone app/game review sites, submission to iPhone app/game promo code sites, advertizing at topic- related forums, commenting topic-relatedblog posts, social bookmarking sites, PPC campaigns are also cost effective for expensive app. Do you have any other good ideas of marketing iPhone apps/games? Thanks.
1. Build your own website for this iPhone app so many people can understand
what are you promote and they can straight away download the app from the
website and website the back bone of your app.
2. Create a facebook fan page, Google + Business page and twitter account and
start following those people who likes iPhone and who have iPhone but
recently samsung galaxy s3 is beating the market so it will be hard to find
iPhone user.
3. Look for a good joint venture(JV) people who has massive list of
subscriber related iPhone and probably they might also promote apps but your
app will be different from him/her. So look for JV this can give you instant
download of your app.
But all this above marketing you can do if you iPhone app really needed my
people and it will really help them in long term. If app is for normal
purpose than you might get very few downloads and user.

You might want to create a Twitter campaign - create a Twitter account and then find other similar products and add those people. Also, search for influencers that have used similar products and send them PR pitches in hope they tweet about your product. Most of all, CREATE A GREAT PRODUCT!
