I started an homecare business 3 years ago as a corporation (one owner), a
year later a friend joined me. last year i started another homecare
corporation by myself. i would like to merge both of them. both businesses
are S-corp and have separated EIN number. How do i go about merging the two,
and using just one business name.

As BizResearcher mentioned, try getting in touch with a local Small Business Development Center or SCORE, two of SBA's resource partners. You may need the assistance of an attorney. You might also contact a
counselor at a small business development center or a SCORE office in your
area. Their services are free. You will need to dissolve one business. You
also need a legal partnership agreement if you don't have one.
