Hi, I'm a US citizens, Asian, considered a minority small business, woman ownership. I am holding a majority 51% of ownership of a flooring business. Our business have been opened for 4 years, doing well in this economic and we are looking for expansion, create some jobs and buying a building. In my case, what kind of financial help I can get?
Hym999... if you have cash tied up receivables waiting to get paid by your customers and could use cash for growth, equipment, expansion, supplies, etc., consider using Invoice Factoring to unlock that cash. This is called off-balance-sheet financing. As such, it is not a loan. It does not burden your financials, nor is the funding decision based on your credit. This type of financing has been around for decades, but is little known or little used by the small business owner. Takes about 10 days from application to funding. Check into Invoice Factoring if all you need is to unlock cash tied up in your receivables... much easier than getting a loan from you bank (even if banks were funding small business!!).

While the SBA does not classify 'women' as a 'disadvantaged group', there are still a lot of options available for women through the SBA. The local and state programs for women are, of course, an option.
But, rather than rely on your status as a woman to obtain a loan, think of it as a business loan for a great business that happens to be owned by a woman. That opens hundreds of doors for you for loans and grants, both large and small.

You may be eligibile for different types of federal or local assistance that is available for minority- or women-owned businesses. Some States, like Massachusetts, have specific programs for things like real estate as well.
