I want to know what licenses and permits do you need for a mobile entertainment company that includes DJ's, Bartenders, Lighting, Music Production, and other merchandise like legal mixtapes and clothing. By the end of the year I plan to have a music label as well. I don't have any questions about legalities about mobile bartending I have already consulted ABC. I do need to understand what licenses and permits I would need. I also don't understand what county I should register in since I will be doing many mobile venues. Thanks.
Go down to your local chamber of commerce and ask them what they know about your local laws. Or, find a local SCORE's office - they should know your local laws.

You register your business name and entity type in the state or county where your business is located (your home address), not where you will be performing. You may also need a sales tax permit. Some states collect tax on services and you will need a permit to purchase music at wholesale.
I'm not sure I know what you mean by 'mobile.' Are you going to be a for-hire company that operates in different venues - basically wherever your clients are holding their parties? Or are you going to be operating from one location - a mobile home - that travels to various destinations?
