Running a business related to advertising agencies, for example, could be far easier if the government would better organize businesses, in this case advertising and marketing ones, through the SIC system. In addition, government could have a more open policy about including links to private resources on public sites, through an impartial review of their relevance.
I strongly believe the US Treasury should start lending directly to small businesses. Banks are hording cash to bolster their balance sheet to hedge against a worsening in the economy. As such they are very reluctant to loan to small businesses.
