that way. If they did, everyone in the country would be a business owner.
Try to find ways to finance your business on your own. Banks and most private
lenders do not lend to startup businesses - just too much risk and banks are
not taking on risk. However, their are alternative lenders that might be
willing to finance specific needs like equipment or property - but, they will
not fund an entire business. Thus, you might have to find ways to piece
together the financing you need - this means that you have to understand your
financing needs first.
But, grants do not work the way you hope they would.

about your son. Grants are not generally available to for-profit businesses.
Your best bet is to seek a loan. You may want to visit with a womens business
center, a small business development center, or a SCORE office in your area.
Their services are free. They can evaluate your business plan and guide you
on how to proceed. The restaurant industry is one of the most highly
regulated, so you will want to be certain you have thoroughly researched and
documented your plans.

however, qualify for a loan. You may want to contact a counselor at a small
business development center or a SCORE office in your area. They can evaluate
your plan and tell you how to best proceed.
