This is a long story when I was little I had a stroke. I tried to get into college for many years, but my parents will not let me go. I still want to go anyway I will not give up. Anyway I have always wanted to work with nature. Over the years I've been at my state science museum volunteer job this is my eighth year. I have mainly worked in the environment education department.
In 2004 I went on a trip to see a mother sea turtle lay her eggs, and to go to a sea turtle hospital. I went to find sea turtles the next few years. In 2005 I created a sea turtle education cart. To tell people about sea turtles. The owner of the hospital loves what I have done she wants me to build her one too.
By 2009 I joined the aquatic departmental the museum. I feed the fish at the museum and clean tanks and refill them with fresher water. The curator wanted me to creat a cart on sea horses. Then he left and started his own sea horse company. He is going to give me a job offer.
Also at the museum I have shown many people animals, educate people about sea turtles, sea horses, sharks, etc. near the end of October I thought why don't I use my environmental education talent I have learn at the museum and make a job out of it. This is the next part I may need help at. I want to do ocean research and scuba diving. Since I have not been in college how can I start a carrier in ocean research. My parents say I can't do Scuba diving. It makes me angry I have wanted to do it since I was five years old. So if I can start a research/environmental education job maybe I can do scuba diving and later go to college. I was wondering if anybody can help me think of ways I can get into ocean research or marine science jobs by freelancing.
