Need Help with Licensing

I am starting an errands service business.  I am hoping to have customers in about 10 different cities.  Do I need to get a license for each city in which I have customers?  That would be costly and a lot to keep up with.  I am assuming I would need the same licensing as say someone who cuts grass or performs any other service.

A quick call to your local city clerk's office should answer your question. Some areas require that you have a business license only in the city where your business is located. Then that license is recognized by other municipalities. Others may require you to have a license in each city where you work. I assume you have registered your business name and entity type with your state or county office that registers businesses.
