Many chidcare facilities are licensed and inspected by health and welfare or department of human services. H & W also offers subsidized funding for childcare businesses that care for children whose parents are low income. You might see what is available in your state.

Back to the issuse - child care is one of the few businesses that may qualify for grants or low intertest loans. There is a link already posted that might get you started. You can also look to state and local government resources that can either provide your business grant funds (grants or low cost loans) or apply fo rthem on your bhalf. I would start by contacting your local chamber of commerce, SBDC office or SCORE office. If those don't pan out, there are many other ways - for one - SBA guaranteed loans as well as non-bank lenders who would love to help you purhcase your business. Perhaps, in your attempts to find grants you came up with nothing, but I am an avid researcher and most programs are federal programs. No where on this site, does it say people cannot promote there business. If anyone is offended, than I aplogize directly to you.
