You'll want to start with accurately costing out exactly what you will need to borrow in terms of start up costs, and also factor in that you will need some liquid capital to cover loan repayments for a while until you get some inward cashflow. A business plan is essential as suggested above, and a lender will need to know what sort of collateral you can put up.

Can you be a little more specific with your questions. Are you looking for money or for advice on how to start up your business? To start up - you might want to find a SCORE office or Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in or near your area and set up an appointment. You can also find SCORE help online. Both are part of the SBA and free to use. Start with a business plan. This does not have to be a formal plan (unless you will be seeking bank financing) - but at least go through the motions - as a business plan will help you identify and think through all the issues you will face as you move forward (can also help you determine how much financing you will need and when and what level it will take for your business to turn a profit). For financing - there are many avenues that start-up businesses can follow - not just bank financing - but a number of options. But, to point you in the right direction - will first have to know how much you will be seeking and the specific purpose of the funds (i.e. working capital, equipment - vehicles, property, etc). Other then that, I would suggest you get out and speak to some of these people you expect to help. Ask them if they would be interested. This is kind of like doing a quick feasibility study.
