Hi I was just wondering I did some self contracting. I started a small business in michigan and I paid out in advertising,gas,etc..
but I only made $300. in 2010 should I use a business tax like turbotax home office I do also have a home office. I have a full time job also is there enough expences to write off? or should I just file normal and include a 1099? thanks for any help.
That software would probably work. If you don't claim expenses against the income, you will pay unnecessary taxes.
I'm no tax guy... but it seems that your tax scenario is not too complicated. Give it a try... if you get stuck you might be able to call turbo tax's support line and/or get a refund. (check it out before you buy, though)
