New guidance from the U.S. Department of Treasury makes it easier for small businesses to determine if they are eligible for the health care tax credit beginning this year, and if so how large a credit they will receive. Additionally, it clarifies that a busines;s credit will not be reduced if they also receive a state level credit or subsidy, and that the credit is not only for regular health insurance, but also add-on dental, vision and other limited scope health insurance coverage.
