Good day to all. I am interested in your experience in regard to seniors and having to start a new career after almost four decades in a field I loved doing. Carpentry. No country for olde carpenters? It appears that way. I had a business that specialize in healthy remodels, finish carpentry, organic landscaping/gardening way before it was kool. I spent 16 months two years ago marketing my life across the country and the best I came up with is I am a part time Librarian Assistant I. I have the itch to start another business. I would encourage you to visit Business.gov for a wealth of information on starting a business. The site's resources guide you through the necessary steps from developing a business plan, to determining what legal structure to establish, to helping you determine what permits you need before you get started.
In addition, browse around the community and take advantage of the resources within, including leveraging the expertise of other members who may have once been in your shoes. You may choose to post a question in the Starting a Business Discussion Forum, for example, which will generate conversation among the members.
