New work truck

I have ben in business for over 30 years, electrical and security systems. Business is slower, and as it goes my truck is 13 year old and is repairable but need to be up dated to limit down time ( no truck/ office to work out of for days and a week at at time) I looking for a 40.000 low interest loan so I can get 13 years out of my next truck. I can aford some payment but not 700.00 per month along with my have to business exspences. ( fuel, telphone ,Insurance, tools and job financing). How can I get a grant or low

Hi ccopeland, Try using Business.gov's Loans and Grants Search Tool to find specific financing opportunities that will meet your equipment needs. Also, check out the local Small Business Development or SCORE Agencies available through your state's Training and Assistance page. Have you tried an equipment loan or lease. With a lease, you can get lower payments - plus could purchase the truck at the end of the lease for amounts around $1.

I think your best bet is hitting the local small business administration. They have low interest government subsidized loans there. Or just hit up your bank. It's a secured loan so the rate won't be too high.
