All to often we as business owners build a wall around ourself. This can be due to many factors such as constant solisitaitons, the misleading feeling of needing to know everything as owner of the business, etc.
One thing that doctors, attorneys, Fortune 500 CEOs / Officers, highly successful owners and even professional sports superstars all have in common is a respect for outside professional advice / assistance.
Your local SBA / SCORE can be an excellent place to acquire free expert advice in most areas of business from start-up to experts needing to expand their busienss.
Other areas which you may not have thought of may actually save you enough money to make the advice better than free. It may actualy reduce your cost enough to pay for other serivces you may wish to acquire or at the very least save you from making a costly mistake. These could include; insurance quotes, PEOs servies, business coaching, recruiting, software enhancements, just to name a few. Professional atheletes know how to get the most out of their game. Being a business professional is no different. You must constantly review your equipment / services to ensure they aren't outdated or costing you profits. Technology changes roughly every six months and services change even faster. This is why it is so improtant to know how to make this work for you. Aligning yourself with trusted advisors, networking partners, and information sources can be the difference in a healthy business and one needing a life support system.
It cost little to nothing to put these measures in place. Not putting them in place can cost you your business.

consultation on running a business. I recently went to SCORE for advice in
getting my business off the ground. The counselor gave good solid advice. One
other thing is better than advice is someone who is willing to roll up their
sleeves and work with you. America have plenty of start-ups, but few are
willing to put their heads together and work together. You know the old
saying ' Two heads are better than one.'
