Non-Payment for services rendered

I'm new to small business operations. I currently reside in Washington state where I own my own business, LLC. I've been doing piece work for a business since the begining of the year. I have completed several jobs for this business. He has been paying about 1500 a month if not less for the invoices I have submitted to him. He partial pays or just doesn't pay my invoices. I have kept detailed receivables.  

As of late he has stopped using my services and refuses to answer my calls. The total debt outstanding is close to 25,000.00. He has told me on multiple occasions he is getting paid and has paid other contractors etc. Now, I'm about to loose my home and I am unable to afford an attorney.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to get the money owed to me out of this guy?
