Obama issues memorandum on small-business contracting

Great news just came out of the government that directly affects the small business community.

On Monday, President Obama issued a memorandum establishing an Interagency Task Force on Federal Contracting Opportunities for Small Businesses. According to the memo, Chief Acquisition Officers and Senior Procurement Executives must consider small-business contracting a high priority.

Within 120 days the new Task Force must give the President recommendations on how to increase opportunities for small businesses.
