My question pertains to our business selling at events. We are a Cincinnati based business and would like to travel across the river to sell at vendor events. I would like to know what steps that I would need to take. I am already Incorporated and have an EIN number, so I wouldn't think that I would have to go through Kentucky paperwork to start the business there too. I am wondering if I just need a permit of some kind? Any advise would be much appreciated.

Have you used business.gov's Permit Me Tool? I plugged in Kentucky and generated this list for you. If you can specify your industry and the city/zip code, it may give you a more specific list. Here's Kentucky Permits and Licenses page.
