OIL and Anti-Freeze pick up business College student

Hi im located in arizona, ive contacted several local businesses that offer this type of business such as thermofluids and safety-kleenI have asked them how much do they pay a seller of oil per gallon, I have been told 70-85 cents per gallon. I have contacted some out of state companies as well and they have told me they get paid from 1.20 to 1.90 per gallon from oil recycling businesses and pay the companies they pick up oil from 70 to 85 cents. this is what i was told from another company outside of arizona. "About how we make money as a oil collector. We take the used oil and sell it to the recycling facility. We can get $1.94 a gallon for it. Our company tries to average a .75 spread after paying the generator, salesman commission, drivers commission, and the cost of the truck and fuel. With the high paid generators and the low paid generators, as long as we maintain that .75 average spread our company can make a profit. "I believe safety-kleen and thermofluids wants to pay me per gallon  as if they where picking it up doing all the work when in reality ill be doing all the pick up service and getting the contracts, they just buy it from me.Id like to know if anyone here has knowledge of of this type of field.
