Opening a comic book store

I'm currently a student and my dream is to open a comic book store after I graduate. In the meantime, I'm trying to quantify, as best I can, what my startup costs will be. I know it's impossible to get a specific number without having a location, but what else can I do to gain a better understanding of what I will need to really get going?I've already contacted the supplier and they told me the typical inital order is around $6,000, what else do I have to take into account?

I also want to open a comic book store. I started a business last year, and I
know a few things that you will need to know.
First, you need to have a good business plan. You will most likely need a
small business loan to start, and a good business plan is a must.
I would definitely incorporate. Being an LLC will limit the liability for
you. Please go through the SBA on how to do this, and it does not cost much.
Your major costs will be: rent, insurance, utilities, internet, and payroll.
And, I would plan on not making a profit for the first year, so make sure you
have enough money to cover all of your monthly expenses for the first year
ahead of time.
An accountant may also be a good investment, unless you have a good
background in it. Make sure your taxes are paid in a timely manner.
Good luck to you and I hope you do well!
