I am looking into starting a Private Security Company, but I am having a lot
of trouble finding where and what kind of Permits and Certifications I need.
Can any one help me please? Point me in the right direction would be vary
help full thank you!

Check with your local city clerk's office. Most cities license private
security companies. If you need additional licensing or training for your
employees, the city clerk should be able to provide that information.

have used the tool at the link you posted and did not find a fit to any of
the "type" of businesses to select from. Am I correct in assuming there
aren't licensing requirements for the type of business I want to start?

I have used the tool at the link you posted and did not find a fit to any of the "type" of businesses to select from. Am I correct in assuming there aren't licensing requirements for the type of business I want to start?
You may be subject to local licensing, such as a business license (issued by
cities, not your state). It never hurts to contact your city clerk's office
to be certain you are covered. If your state collects sales tax on services,
you may also need a sales tax permit.
