Personal Trainer Insurance

Aside from having insurance to cover myself as a personal trainer ($3m coverage), the gym at which I am a contract trainer is requesting that I also add them on as an additional insured, which would raise my premiums. Would the gym not have their own insurance to cover contractor's that are brought in from outside through the business' insurance? Any insight?

liability insurance (and ask for proof from them) common practice indeed and
wise, doesnt cost much to add gym, smart gyms name the landlord of the
building as additional insured. It should be noted that general liability
does not cover injuries to clients as a result of your training that is
Professional Liability and probably more important to protect you as the gym
is responsible for maintenance which could result in an injury
