Hi Zeeblet,   Have you considered starting a fitness bootcamp?  Just google the term if you're not sure what it is.  Basically, it's an outdoor group personal training that happens in the park.    They have been very successful in our area and do not require a lot of overhead expenses.  Many groups use sandbags for weights and public structures (benches, stairs, etc) to exercise on.   Hope that helps.   Mike

I know for a fact that personal training is a great business. My wife is a Pilates instructor and she goes to her clients' homes or brings some to our house. She carries aroun small props for her clients' to exercise with and she enjoys it a lot. When she started she used word-of-mouth to advertise her business, and later one she set up a website and a facebook page. It has worked wonders for her. Keep in mind that you should create a policy for cancellations, so that people don't cancel their classes at the last minute without a penalty of some sort.

Hello, I liked your idea. I think you want to work just like a freelancer. SO that other Gyms can give you the Client address and you can go their houses and train them. But I dont think you can join more than one Gym together since you are new and starting up. Better to join just one and then slowly build contacts links with other gyms also. Sounds like an exciting venture. I've seen personal trainers at my local park teach classes at the park. You don't have to pay for space and there's lots of it! I started to search 'personal training' and 'insurance' came up so you might also want to look into that to cover your liabilities.
