I'm in the process of starting an assisted-living program for intellectually
challenged adults. I'm looking for a template on how to write an effective
proposal. Any advice on resources out there that might be helpful?
The Foundation Center and other similar organizations offer classes on
proposal writing. They sometimes have templates on their website. Your local
library may also offer proposal writing workshops through their Funding
Information Center. Each entity to which you submit a proposal will have its
own requirements, so be sure you follow them carefully. You can start with
the basic template, but you may need to add or change the order of your
information.
I made a quick search on Google using the term "proposal writing template"
and found numerous resources, some of which are for sale. Others are free.
