Hello, I hope you do not mind me posting on here as well, but I was wondering how you can obtain a resale certificate here in MA? I did find the ST-4 Sales Tax Resale Resale Certificate. I thought I figured it out, but when I callled in at MA Dept of Revenue to find out to whom I send this form to, I was told I did not need to send it in. And that this was the form I was looking for, but there is no way suggested as to how I obtain the actual State Resale License #. Do you have any ideas about this?

We need more information before being able to provide information. Do you currently have a store? Your post gives the impression you do. The cost of merchandise will depend on what you sell. Yes, you will need a reseller's permit in order to purchase items at wholesale and then resell them in your store.
