Railroad Access Grant

I am a small business located in a rural community KY.

We are interested in knowing if there are government grants available to help us put in a railroad spur to ship and receive goods.  Are there any such grants available?

Wow.  That's a tough one.  Researching government grants for a project like that would probably require the cooperation of someone inside government who knew the ropes.  If I were you, I would contact my US Congressperson.  Each Representative has a staff, one or more of whom probably knows the innerds of government grants far better than you and I.  You are looking for a transportation grant that might even fall under the auspices of the stimulus package, so I think there is hope.  The trick will be to get the right person on your side, ready to help you look.   Good luck!   MaryAnnwww.BusinessPlanMaster.comBusiness Plans for Financing Your Business
