I own two small LLC's with no assets other than 10-year old office equipment and some business software. The service I provide is writing and narrating radio and television commercials. Forced to sustain my companies during the recent economic downturn by relying mostly on credit cards in the company names, I am now contemplating filing bankruptcy as a last resort. QUESTION #1 - do I have to file personally as well as both LLCs? QUESTION #2 - since I have no other option but to continue to try to earn a living doing what I do, will I have to form a new LLC before starting over? QUESTION #3 - would a bankruptcy affect a new LLC should I decide to form one? EDIT> Please email me when someone replies
