Register an Australian company in US (Florida)

My name is Hao Nguyen. I am a director of an Australian based company, which as trustee for my family trust. My ultimate intention is to invest in property within Orlando Florida.

However, I am unable to open a bank account with Sun Trust bank unless my company is US registered. How can I go about this?

US is very friendly with investor and business people, you will not have any problems with VISAS and bureaucrasy

@ krummelhart , Thank you for your info.   I would google them and hopefully everything will fall into its place nicely   ADDED: I have spoken to one of the guy at the Registered Agent Solutions. He had informed the cost is $135/year but I am not sure exactly the service it is provided and what are other fees and charges not yet disclose to me or I am not aware of.   If they just act as a portal of all my correspondence with the goverments and/or from the law offices then I guess any of my relatives in Florida can do this as well. Is this true and is there something else?   Does anyone shine some lights on this topic for me as well.    Best regards,   Hao Nguyen

I would recommend Registered Agent Solutions - They are a National firm and very reputable.

@Hi JimD, thank you for your reply.   I have talked to an agent in business register office, she had instructed me to downlaod CR2E007 form and fill it out (i.e 'register a foreign profit corporation'.   However, I got stuck at section 9, 10, 11. Since I do not have Name and street address of Florida registered agent? and unable to get it sign.   What I should do then?   Best Regards,   Hao Nguyen

Hao, Take a look at 10 Steps for Starting a Business in Florida. This gives you the steps you need to register and start a business. You could probably skip down to step 5 since you already have a business. Also take a look at our business article Starting a Business in the US as a Foreign National.
