I would suggest that you search “virtual office space”.  This is a growing market segment – not just for start-up businesses but for business travelers who need a place to access the net and get work done while away from their office or for local businesses that don’t need traditional office space and all its costs but would like a place to go from time to time.   Search a couple of these companies and try to see what they offer – I bet you will find that different companies offer different services in different parts of the country.   You might also want to talk to a couple of these business owners or managers to pick their brains.   Then, with that research in hand, get out in your community and do some feasibility – talk to people (potential customers) and get their insight – will they use it, what will they pay or what would they like you to offer.  Remember, the customer is king.   If you still think you want to proceed, then it is time for you to complete a business plan to nail down the details like financing, marketing and location.  It does not have to be a formal business plan unless you are seeking funding – but enough that gets you comfortable that you have addressed all potential issues.
