Hi,
You would need to write a business plan before you go to any investor for money/investment.
You may bizplancorner.com/samples.aspx and download some sample of business plan. This will give some ideas about what information should you include in your business plan.
I hope that will work for you.

Apply for a small business loan. Use the information that you gathered from writing the business plan to apply for enough money. Go to a bank with which you have done business in the past. Take time to fill out all the paperwork and include all the information requested. You should already have be knowledgeable of your income in order to fill out the forms.

The restaurant business is highly competitive so make sure your restaurant is different from the other restaurants in your area.
It is very important to have a professional business plan that is detailed and shows how you will become profitable. You can enlist the services of a small business assistance organization. They will help you with budgeting and how to acquire funding.

All great answers here - if you cannot get the funding - modify your idea until you do or find other ways to bootstrap.
You could also find a local partner / investor who has the money. You just have to get out and network in your community.
I suggest that, first write your business plan. Second is to apply a small business loan. Use the information that you have gathered in your business plan. Third is to approach your friends and family who might be interested in helping you. Fourth is to approach a wealthy friend to be your partner in the business. Fifth is to advertise, cheap advertising can do - and the cheapest way to do that is online. Build your own website and use Facebook, Twitter, My Space etc. to advertise your website.
