Is there a reason to go with third party WOSB certification?
Are they both treated the same when it comes to obtaining contracts?
I am inclined to self-certify - just to save the $$

Going through a third party to certify your WOSB can help alleviate some of the work for you. If you chose to go through a third party, check out the four SBA approved organizations as there are many scams out there. Check out this page to self certify for the WOSB program.
